iQOO launched the iQOO Neo 12 in China on 28 October 2026, and it is one of the most aggressive gaming phones of the year: a built-in active cooling fan, a 9,000mAh battery, a 185Hz 2K display and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. The phone starts at CNY 4,399 (about $659) in China for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, according to Notebookcheck and Sportskeeda, with sales under way through Vivo's online store in China.
iQOO has not announced the Neo 12 for Pakistan or any market outside China, and there is no Pakistan price. This article covers what was actually launched, what the gaming hardware means in practice, and what Pakistani buyers should know before paying an importer for one.
iQOO Neo 12 price in China
The China launch prices, reported by Notebookcheck, Sportskeeda and GSMArena, are:
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: CNY 4,399 (about $659)
- 16GB RAM + 256GB storage: CNY 4,799 (about $719)
- 12GB RAM + 512GB storage: CNY 5,099 (about $765)
- 16GB RAM + 512GB storage: CNY 5,499 (about $824)
- 16GB RAM + 1TB storage: CNY 6,499 (about $974)
Some outlets list an opening first-sale price of CNY 4,199 for the base model. Those are China-only prices. They are not Pakistan prices: an imported phone in Pakistan would also carry PTA tax, import duties and retailer margins, so the local cost would be considerably higher — and PTA registration on a phone in this price bracket is a major extra cost. Why the cooling fan and 185Hz display matter
Most gaming phones rely on passive cooling: a vapour chamber spreads heat, but under a long gaming session the chip still throttles and frame rates drop. The Neo 12 adds an actual fan inside the phone, which is rare and is the whole point of the device — it is built to hold high frame rates for longer. The 185Hz display is also unusual: most phones top out at 120Hz or 144Hz, and iQOO claims 50 or more games can run natively at 185 frames per second.
Will the iQOO Neo 12 come to Pakistan?
iQOO does not officially sell phones in Pakistan, and the company has announced no global or Pakistan launch for the Neo 12. Sportskeeda notes a possible India launch under a different name in early 2027, but that is speculation, not an announcement.
That leaves Pakistani buyers with two realistic routes:
- Wait for an official launch elsewhere: a global launch would confirm international pricing, though still not PTA-approved stock in Pakistan.
- Grey import from China: available sooner through importers, but with a China-market version of OriginOS, no local warranty, and a PTA tax bill on registration. Check the DIRBS figure before you buy, not after.
Until iQOO announces something, any "iQOO Neo 12 price in Pakistan" figure you see online is an importer's quote or an estimate, not an official price. Treat it that way.

Conclusion
The iQOO Neo 12 is a serious gaming phone: a flagship chip, a real cooling fan, a 185Hz screen and a huge battery. For Pakistani buyers, though, the honest position is patience — no Pakistan launch, price or PTA valuation exists yet, and an imported unit carries real extra costs and no local warranty.
